We are a local group of families who are offering support to others who are looking for information and friendship. We have many activities planned each month, and enjoy getting together to share information and experiences, as well as having the chance for our children to play and get to know each other. When this group was started, there was (and still is) a need for support and information in our area. As our group has become larger over the last 12years, we have seen families with children of various disabilities coming to our group for information and support due to the lack of substantial resources and support in our area. We welcome parents of children with any special needs, as we can all learn from each other! Although some needs are disability specific, we have found that we have far more similarities than differences, and therefore we have a larger support system by including families with children of all disabilities!
